Atom.io is an open source text editor originally developed by GitHub, designed for web development. Designed as a hackable editor, it offers advanced customisation through packages, themes and extensions. It offers integrated Git, autocompletion, project browsing and support for a wide range of languages. Although it is no longer actively maintained, it is still appreciated for its flexibility.
