Integrated management platform (business ERP)

Centralising an industrial SME's management

Quick overview

The client is an industrial metalwork / boilermaking SME, MASE-certified, organised into workshop bays and on-site assembly teams.

Its challenge: regain control of its data, remove re-entry and calmly prepare its MASE audit.

For a MASE-certified industrial metalwork SME, Quai des Balises designed a bespoke integrated management platform: a single source of truth, hosted in-house, that connects to the existing ERP and accounting and centralises management, hours per job, production planning, stock and the whole safety/MASE side — to remove re-entry and enable real-time steering.

Context

The company relied on a costly proprietary ERP (sales, purchasing, billing, accounting) whose data it didn't control. Around it, everything lived in spreadsheets and Teams: hours-per-job re-entered by hand, MASE indicators recopied three to four times, and no alerts on certifications, medical checks or equipment inspections.

The need / the problem

The need: an integrated management platform, an in-house source of truth, covering:

A real-time dashboard: financial, operational and social steering in one place

The tracking of hours per job and profitability by manufacturing phase

A production planning (Gantt by phase: on track / overrun / critical)

A store & stock module with barcode scan, min alerts and reordering

Safety & MASE: indicators, certifications (QR codes), reinforced onboarding, toolbox talks, audits — with single data entry

HR management: employee records, absences, mileage allowances computed automatically

Specific challenges and constraints

1
Regain control of the data: a source of truth hosted in-house, independent from vendors
2
Connect existing tools (ERP, accounting, e-invoicing) rather than rebuild everything
3
Remove re-entry and duplicates: data entered once feeds every indicator
4
Meet the MASE audit deadline by delivering the safety module first
5
Field adoption: workshop screens, barcodes and an offline-capable mobile app

Our approach

Data at the client

A source of truth hosted in-house, secure and independent from vendors.

Brick-by-brick delivery

A global architecture, but delivery by priority — safety/MASE first.

Sandbox

A pre-production environment to test before go-live.

AI as assistance

AI assists (monitoring, reports) on a solid base, with a no-AI fallback mode.
